Our Reception students are very creative! They read ‘The Little Red Hen’ book, and then made a play based on the story in their art class.Then they worked together in small teams to create puppets for the play.
First, they chose materials and drew puppet designs. Then, they made the puppets using those designs. They practised their lines during English lessons and performed the play for their classmates in the final art class.

Reception students have been learning to write on their own. They’ve mastered letter names, sounds, blending, and writing each letter. In the photo, you’ll see excellent letter formation, spacing, and meaningful sentences. They’ve even added detailed pictures.
