Community Learning

The SACE Board’s recognition of Community Learning enables students to demonstrate how learning through community activities enhances their understanding of vocational pathways and contributes to the wider community. Community Learning can help students gain Credits for their SACE. No grade or score is given for Community Learning and the results are reported on the SACE Record of Achievement as status ‘granted’.

At Hope Christian College students are encouraged to apply for recognition of Community-developed programs. The full list of SACE recognised Community-developed programs is available on the SACE website and includes such things as Air Force & Army Cadets, practical music exams, Queen’s Guide & Scout Awards, and RLSSA Bronze Star & Medallion.

If you have any questions about Community Learning, please contact Mrs Fay Alford, Hope Christian College Pathways Coordinator.
